Pedernales Falls State Park

There are so many great places to go RV'ing near Austin, Texas and Pedernales Falls State Park is one of them. The park is a hikers paradise with miles of trails to explore. There are even ten miles of horse trails. As with all state parks the fishing is free and no license is required so bring the fishing poles. Catfish is the predominate species but you can also catch bass and perch as well. Explore the Texas State Parks website to book your campsite. If you and the family head out for a Texas camping trip be sure and take your camera so you can submit a photo to our RV lifestyle photo contest. You can submit photos to the Camper Clinic 2 facebook page.
