2011 Airstream Interstate Touring Coach Texas Dealer

In today's work environment it's difficult to find and keep good help. We are very fortunate to have 2 wonderful employees that are celebrating their 10th anniversary with Camper Clinic 2 in Buda, Texas. Henry Alvarez and Maria Sosa have helped us become one of the premiere Austin, Texas RV dealerships and we are truly appreciative of their dedication and support. In those 10 years Henry and Maria have both been awarded with employee of the year twice! That's almost half of the awards given out. Pedernales Falls State Park

There are so many great places to go RV'ing near Austin, Texas and Pedernales Falls State Park is one of them. The park is a hikers paradise with miles of trails to explore. There are even ten miles of horse trails. As with all state parks the fishing is free and no license is required so bring the fishing poles. Catfish is the predominate species but you can also catch bass and perch as well. Explore the Texas State Parks website to book your campsite. Ink Lake State Park Review

Our blog was right! Inks Lake State Park is a great destination for your next family Texas RV vacation. My wife and I headed there this last weekend and we loved it. If  you live near Austin, TX,  you can visit the scenic Texas state park and still have fuel in the tank for the coming work week. The campground is clean and has hundreds of great spots that are lakeside or tucked into the woods. It seems to be a very family friendly Texas campground. There are full hook-ups available and primitive campsites as well. Be sure and check out Devil's Backbone, the views there are amazing. Inks Lake Texas State Park

If it wasn't for the worst depression in the history of the country we might not have a Inks Lake State Park. Back in the early 1930's the Civilian Conservation Corps,  created to stimulate the economy, began creating a chain of lakes in Central Texas with a series of impoundments along the Colorado River. Nearby Lake Buchanan was also part of the CCC's work, as are all of the highland lakes.  Inks Lake State Park is located about 60 miles Northwest of Austin, Texas and offers excellent water activities and amazing views. It's a wonderful park to go fishing, rent canoes, and even play golf. Longhorn Caverns is only a few miles away from the park and is a great activity for the family to enjoy. People find the strangest  things to do with airstream trailers. Many of you may have seen 10 half buried Cadillacs at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX. American Cancer Society - Relay for Life in Kyle Texas

The American Cancer Society is holding their annual Relay for Life in Kyle Texas this evening at Hays High School. Camper Clinic 2 is a proud sponsor of this awesome charity event, and for good reason. One of our own is a survivor of esophageal cancer. Don Goodson, the general manager of our texas rv dealership, was diagnosed in September of 2007 and was told he might see Christmas if he was lucky. Well three years later he's still taking care of our customers and we're glad to have him.

The Relay for Life is a celebration for those that have defeated cancer and a remembrance for those that did not. Unfortunately most of us have been touched by cancer in some way. The frontage road in front of Camper Clinic 2 is now one way. It's still easy as ever to see the best selling towable rv's in Texas. North bound traffic can take exit 217 and continue north on the frontage to the store. South bound traffic can take exit 217 and loop around and come back to the store or, take exit 220, cross the bridge and continue straight to the fire station, turn rt. on FM2001 and turn rt. at the Sac N Pac to come in our north gate.

Weiner Dog Races in Buda Texas

The 13th Annual Weiner Dog Races and are going to be held at the Buda City Park this Saturday and Sunday. The racers have been in training for months now and they are ready for the big weekend. 100's of dachshunds will race for the title of the fastest weiner dog. The race is part of the Buda Country Fair, which also includes cook-offs, arts and crafts venders and plenty of food to munch on. This year you can even get a bird's eye of the race from a hot air balloon, as the city will be offering $5.00 rides for the more adventurous visitors.
